Understanding is an Art (but not everyone is an artist) with LeoRising

Hey white people, this is for us. I don’t even know where to begin here, but what I will say is that LeoRising is the real deal, the real fucking deal. And what a tremendous gift that he carved out the time to talk about his teachings, his wisdom, and his human experience as a black man. These conversations aren’t easy, because they are unchartered. But Leo was empathic and patient, and amazing with me, and I’d like to think I stayed open, and did my part to listen.

The bottom line is this, It is our job to dismantle white privilege. And we can not dismantle what we can not see. So our ability to understand, to hold space, and show up, let’s just say we need to do better.
