Dress Rehearsals for Music Students

Follow these five steps for a successful dress rehearsal. In order from one to five: appearance - make it your best; 2) get a good night's sleep; 3) choose an appropriate background setting for a video; 4) check the audio before videotaping, and 5) PLAY - hit the right notes. An audience is optional, but highly recommended. Play for puppets or stuffed animals. Something.  Take your time viewing the results. Sign off before posting to social media. A star is born or is in the process. Enjoy the process. It should only get better over time.
