Jenny Salt introduces us to Phil Singline, a man who has made a ministry out of 'being there' for society's hardest cases.

Phil Singline works with the hardest cases in one of Sydney's most disadvantaged suburbs. A Baptist minister, he shares with Jenny Salt how his own experience as an angry teen prepared him to bring the Gospel to those who appear beyond the reach of normal churches. 'Just turning up' and building relationships in the most awkward and even dangerous circumstances has earned him the right to speak into lives that have been fractured by drugs, violence, and a seemingly unending sense of hopelessness.
