Previous Episode: Rush: Permanent Waves
Next Episode: Kiss: Kiss

In the second episode of Rush Strutter Zep Magik, we discuss how much the world has changed since our inaugural offering. Mike offers some leftover thoughts on the Rush album Permanent Waves and then we get down to business discussing Kevin’s pick for this show, Led Zeppelin’s 1973 album Houses of the Holy. Kevin reminisces about being introduced to the record by his mom ( which – let’s face it – makes his mom sound way cool) while Mike discusses his 30-year effort to keep the record cover hidden away from his parents. Mike also reminds everyone why he describes himself as a “hobbyist” when it comes to playing the guitar, as he attempts to play a few riffs from the album on his Squier Telecaster. The guys go track by track through the album and at the end of it all, Mike announces his pick for the next RSZM show.
