Guyon Espiner is a New Zealand media legend.

Even if you don’t recognize the name, if you Google him chances are you'll recognize the face from his incredible TV career. Or his voice from his stellar career on Radio New Zealand. .

Guyon has a new book out called The Drinking Game which, if you read, may make you stop and think about your relationship with alcohol. Guyon was a drinker, and a very good one, until he quit a few years ago.

In this conversation we talk about his obsession with running- he has been a regular runner for over 20 years and has helped him through some major moments in his life.

We discuss his diabetes diagnosis, his decision to stop drinking, his recent divorce, and the humiliation of making the news for signing up to Bumble.

He also shares a toe-curling story involving himself with a Prime Minister, a Governor General and Sir Edmund Hillary.
