Brant Kotch first volunteered for the Houston Marathon Committee in 1992, joined the Board of Directors in 1996, became the course director in 1997 and was named President and Race Director in 2002. After 18 years as race director, Brant became the Race Director emeritus in February 2020. We chat through his tenure at the Houston Marathon Committee, what it was like to host the 2012 Olympic Trials - Marathon, and the craziest stories he's heard from race weekend.
