Kevin Brown lives in Utah, is married with four young children, and is in a band. He started running track and field in junior high with friends but didn’t get serious with endurance athletics until the age of 22 when he ran his first marathon. Kevin shares his inspiration behind his running and also lets us know why he tends to “go big or go home” when it comes to running, cycling, and triathlon. We talk about the Boston Marathon, the St. George Marathon, getting hit by a car, and the importance of Strava and the running community. Kevin believes that hard work, family support, and friends have made his athletic achievements possible. He challenges our listeners to set big goals and to chase their dreams. Kevin is married to Lindsey Brown, our guest on episode 71, and continues our conversation about incorporating fitness with young children. We recommend you listen to Lindsey’s episode to get the full story behind this amazing couple.
