RED Episode #37: Virtual Medals Revealed & The Polite Pig at Disney Springs

It’s a FLASHBACK and an unboxing of MEDALS!

RUN 

In June, we started the Run Disney Virtual Running Shorts Race Series.  This is an Incredibles-themed series of 5ks this summer.  Complete one in June, July, and August plus get a bonus medal.  While you can do a virtual race anywhere, we heard about the Bourbon Experience at Disney Springs during the months of May and June.  On this episode  we reveal the medals for the summer series and they don’t disappoint!

EAT

While we were there, we discovered that Disney Springs had special pairings at various restaurants during this experience. The Polite Pig is A BBQ restaurant with an mouth-watering coffee-rubbed brisket sandwich and a side of street corn with chipotle aioli and breadcrumbs.  YUM!

DRINK

The Polite Pig also had a winner of a drink... pun intended.  Their drink included one of my favorites, Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, something I had a hard time pronouncing but I will work on it, Pamplemousee grapefruit liqueur, and elderflower tonic.  It was not overly sweet but had hints of fruit and vanilla.  I could have had another!
