RUN

No race registrations or virtual races this week, it was a week of healing and getting back out there slowly and safely for Aimee.  Dana was getting in his runs and finding his sweet spot for run-walk-run ratios.  No race cancelations that we know of either!  So, we focused on getting mileage while looking forward to the last in our RunDisney Virtual Race Series, the Haunted Mansion 5K next week.  We can’t wait to get the medals in our hands!

EAT

On episodes 108 and 109 of our show, we featured an interview about one of our favorite books to cook from in our kitchen, The Healthspan Solution.  Over the past couple of weeks, we have been cooking a lot of a new favorite in our kitchen, Cream of Mushroom Cauliflower Rice.  We were lucky enough to be joined by the Plant-Based Dietitian, Julieanna Hever, this week to chat about it!  She told us the story behind it and why she loves it so much.  I know we will be making it a lot because it is comforting, filling, and uses the flavors that summon great memories from childhood and the holidays.

You can get the hardback version of The Healthspan Solution here or the Kindle version by clicking here.

A special thank you to Julieanna Hever for spending time with us and sharing knowledge this week!

Thank you to Hannah Kaminsky for the fantastic photo of the Cream of Mushroom Cauliflower Rice dish.

DRINK

We featured Rock-N-Reef Red on our live beer chat this week from a local favorite, Coastal Dayz Brewery.  They are the latest to get their food license in the state of Florida so their local patrons can resume on-site consumption.  But that is not the only update for this local gem.  They are going to start canning their great beer!  We got a sneak peek at the prototype labels while tasting another one of our favorites from this brewery, Homeport Honey Wheat.   If you come to the Fort Myers area, hit us up on social media because we’d love to meet you a
