When President Biden moved into the White House, one of the changes to the Oval Office included removing a massive portrait of President Andrew Jackson and replacing it with a portrait of President Franklin D. Roosevelt. In the weeks leading up to being sworn in, Biden and his team studied biographies of Roosevelt in the hopes of emulating the bold, heavy-handed use of the federal government to help solve monumental crises. One of these great biographies is "Traitor to His Class: The Privileged Life and Radical Presidency of Franklin Delano Roosevelt," which was written by historian H.W. Brands. Michael is joined by Brands to discuss how and why Roosevelt succeeded and what Biden must do to achieve similar success.

Michael also shares his thoughts on Congresswoman Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez's IG Live about the threats to her life during the January 6th mob violence and includes the audio from AOC's message.
