A full and comprehensive ceasefire, which was negotiated in Minsk last week by the Trilateral Contact Group for Donbas Settlement, was supposed to start on July 27th, but, as in the previous cases, did not hold long: the JFO HQ reported several ceasefire violations by Donbas separatists recorded as of 6 p.m. Due to the current coronavirus pandemic situation in Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers has extended the so-called “adaptive quarantine” until August 31st and the parliament has reduced so-called “green tariffs”.
