Hosts Dallen Stanford & Robin MacDowell are joined by Canadian legend Kayla Moleschi for #RugbyHive Episode 4.

Moleschi has represented her country on the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series for 8 consecutive years, playing in 40 tournaments around the world. Canada has placed inside the top 4 every single season – finishing the shortened 2020 Series just behind champions New Zealand.

Moleschi is an Olympic Bronze medalist, a Rugby World Cup 7s Silver medalist, and a two time Pan American Games Gold medalist.

In today’s episode we talk about growing up in the small Canadian town of William’s Lake, British Columbia, population 10,000.

And how a young girl was inspired to represent her county, eventually going on to medal at the greatest sporting event in the world.

We talk about those who shaped her life, what she values about team sport, her international 15s career and her plans to return someday, plus representing Canada at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and the tight group that will compete at the 2021 Olympics in Japan.

Best & worst roommates on tour? Favorite try ever scored? Most respected opponent? Advice for aspiring rugby players?

We cover all these topics including her most prized possession, the Williams Lake Stampede rugby belt buckle.

We hope you enjoy and follow us on these platforms!
