The Resurrection of Jesus is the central doctrine of the Christian faith. If Jesus didn't rise from the dead, then we are still in our sins so let us 'eat and drink for tomorrow we die.' In John 20, on Easter morning, Mary stands outside the tomb and weeps, because she has lost the one she loves (she thinks) forever. The empty tomb gives hope to a dying world that our mistakes and sins are not the end of our story. They can't be. Only in Christ Our Resurrection is true, lasting change possible.
