Worlds Apart: Dusan Pavlovic, associate professor, University of Belgrade

Over the last three decades, the European Union has seen its enlargement as a way of killing at least two birds with one stone – helping its eastern neighbors to democratize while also keeping them firmly within its geopolitical and diplomatic orbit.
