Today's podcast:

Israel's Ambassador to Canada spoke with us last weekend about PM Trudeau's 'support' for Israel in the case brought by South Africa before the International Court of Justice, accusing Israel of genocide against Palestinians. The Ambassador thanked Trudeau, but allowed the PM could have been more direct in his support for Israel. A week later and after Trudeau said publicly Canada will support the eventual decision of the ICJ in the case, Israel is not so kindly disposed to Trudeau's statement. - As well Israel's PM Benjamin Netanyahu outspoken about his government's plans for Gaza following the war with Hamas.
Guest: Iddo Moed. Israel Ambassador to Canada.

An Oshawa Tim Hortons restaurant closes dining area. Fear of drug abuse and violence. The counter and drive thru will continue to operate. Joe Warmington of the Toronto Sun writes "it was becoming an unofficial narcotics delivery centre." And Anne of Green Gables will receive a woke adjustment from Parks Canada.
Guest: Joe Warmington. Toronto Sun columnist.

Global News: Have a cough that just won't quit? Here's what it may be. What causes coughs, laryngitis to trail long departed viral infections?

Global News: Calgary police investigate, recommend provincial review of domestic homicide This after a mother and wife was murdered near a Calgary elementary school. Her husband was found dead nearby. Police had been to the family residence several times and had had repeatedly charged the husband who was then released by the courts on a 'no contact' order.
Criminal law professor Doug King says "a restraint order, a no-contact order was placed on him. He violated it twice. And each time he had violated it, he would have been before a judge again to look at his release. I question what was the logic behind releasing him out after his second violation."
Guest: Professor Doug King. Justice studies professor. Mount Royal University, Calgary.
