The public inquiry into 'foreign interference' into Canadian elections, headed by Commissioner Marie Josee Hogue, wrapped up a week of hearings yesterday, while federal Public Safety Minister Dominic LeBlanc insisted the government will keep a tight lid on what documentation and information will be publicly released. Groups and individuals affected are calling on the government for significant public disclosure. China primarily and India have been identified as being active in interference in Canada's 2019 and 2021 federal elections. 
CPC MPs Michael Chong (Ontario) and Kenny Chiu (B.C.) were targeted by China in 2021, as were former MP and CPC leader Erin O'Toole and NDP: MP Jenny Kwan.

Julia Mallot took her 19 year old daughter to St. Mary's General Hospital E.R. in Kitchener, Ontario where her daughter was diagnosed with acute appendicitis while experiencing terrible pain. It took 19 hours, which included the assigning of an E.R. bed, only to have the bed then required for another patient, before Julia Mallot's daughter received very necessary surgery.

On the issue energy generation, nuclear power is increasingly(?) on the table in Canada. Premier Moe has discussed with us concerning Saskatchewan and in Ontario the Pickering nuclear power plant will undergo a massive multi-billion-dollar refurbishment of its four aging nuclear reactors. Meanwhile the Trudeau government's new clean electricity regs will require future power plants to produce net-zero carbon emissions.
