Two Muslim guests speak to the refugee/migrant crisis emanating from Syria. Our first guest returned to Canada from the Greek island of Crete last night. Greek islands have been the landing point for many thousands of refugees/migrants.Guests: Mubin Shaikh as a young man supported violent jihad against the West, even though he grew up in Toronto and was a Canadian army cadet. He initially cheered the 9/11 attack on the WTC/Pentagon, then, uncomfortable with his own views travelled to Syria to study Islamic teachings. Shaikh returned to Canada and became an infiltrator/informer of violent jihadists in this country (including the Toronto 18) for the RCMP and CSIS.
