21 year old Dylann Roof is charged with the murder of nine innocent people at Bible study at Emmanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina. Roof, described as a confirmed racist was reportedly given a .45 caliber handgun by his father as a 21st birthday present. This after Roof had already experienced run-ins with police. Before the murders Roof had expressed racist views to his friends.
