Emma Paulsen of B.C. sentenced to six months in prison for the heat stroke deaths of six dogs in her truck, while under her care as a dog-walker. Paulsen was warned not to leave dogs in her truck. She dumped their bodies in a ditch, reported them stolen and only eventually was discovered to have been lying. Green tweet: "I have zero sympathy or empathy for Emma Paulsen" resulted in email response "Come on, Roy, they're only dogs." Also, April Dawn Irving had more than 200 dogs emaciated and in some cases dying dogs removed from her Alberta property. This after she'd had more than 100 removed previously in Saskatchewan and had been fined $5000 and ordered not to own more than 2 dogs at a time for 10 years.
