2:05pm: The "Gimme" Generation. "The government should pay for my tuition, provide me with a job, give me money for a house, make sure I get free health care and pay for my retirement. If necessary, raise taxes on rich people so that I can have more money." Some of the results of an essay written by college students when asked to write about their definition of the American Dream.
That was 2010.
In December of 2014, college students have added in a petition with more than 1000 signatures and delivered to the president of Oberlin College, that "a 'C' should be the lowest grade students can receive this semester', as far as grading exams is concerned. Why? Well, students haven't been able to properly prepare for their finals because they've been too heavily involved in protests of recent Grand Jury decisions to not indict police officers in the shooting deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner. When an Oberlin professor replied to the demand with a curt "NO", the students posted it to Facebook in an attempt to publicly shame the professor.
And at George Washington University another petition by students demands the deportation of one American citizen in exchange for one illegal immigrant. "Please sign our petition for President Obama to deport one American citizen, in exchange for one undocumented immigrant" reads the petition. Did any of the students signing the petition volunteer to be deported? Ummmm....No!
Guest: Michael Wade. Lawyer and blogger. Wrote on and picked apart the "Gimme" Generation's expectations.

2:30-:55: The LAST WORD to Callers: Are these college/university students off the wall, or, on the mark? The generation of 'leaders to come'.
