Remembrance Day with a great Canadian Why Vice Admiral Mark Norman chose to make the military his life's endeavour. Entered the Royal Canadian Navy Reserve as an Ordinary Seaman Standard.
Guest: Vice Admiral Mark Norman. Significance of Remembrance Day to the former Commander of the RCN and Vice Chief of the Defence Staff.
 
German Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck delivered a speech which has been compared to the finest speeches in modern history. Habeck underlined Germany's commitment to the security of the state of Israel tied directly to Germany's responsibility for the Holocaust. Habeck condemned the rise in antisemitic incidents and warned the ban on supporting Hamas, to be followed by a ban on public activity in support of Hamas. Habeck stated the burning of Israeli flags during demonstrations and "praising Hamas terror" were criminal offences, adding 'any German citizen who does this will have to answer for such offences in court. Those who are not German citizens will risk their residency status. Anyone who does not yet have a residence permit will have provided a reason to be deported."

"A Pittance of Time," a Remembrance Day tribute song heard by millions. Writer/singer Terry Kelly teamed up with Marc Burchell, co-national organizer for the Canadian Walk for Veterans to compose and perform a new Remembrance Day tribute song 'Heroes of the Homefront.' In this song Terry and Marc add Canada's first responders, Fire, paramedic and Police services members.
