Today’s podcast:
Pointed exchanges concerning China's interference in Canadian general elections 2019 & 2021 were delivered at Question Period in parliament between Conservative Party of Canada leader Pierre Poilievre and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau over what the Liberals and Trudeau knew and/or didn't know. The issue continues at the Procedure and House Public Affairs (PROC) and Ethics parliamentary committees. Opposition parties voted for a public inquiry into the matter. PM Justin Trudeau instead announced a special 'rapporteur' into election interference will be named.
Meanwhile, China Friday insisted Canada is smearing China's reputation over the presence of Chinese police stations within Canada. And almost four years after two scientists with ties to China were fired and walked out of Canada's most secure bio-lab in Winnipeg the RCMP investigation into their activities has still not been concluded
Guest: Pierre Poilievre. Leader: Conservative Party of Canada
CEO's of Canada's 'Big Three' grocery chain CEO's testify before the Commons Agriculture Committee and what they said in defence of "reasonable profitability" over soaring food costs. Vicious Russian violence against Ukraine and its civilian population increases with massive missiles attack, including hypersonic missiles and this in the past few days. - Ukraine wants Western battle tanks it has been promised and immediately to change the dynamic on the ground. But will it?
Some military experts argue the time of the tank is gone. Not our guest. How will the heavy armour from the West change the dynamic of the war in Ukraine? How much will it cost? Is it sustainable? And will the Russians resort to using doomsday weapons?

Commanded 1st Brigade of the 1st Armored Division of the U.S. Army, including 13 months of combat in Iraq. Was Executive officer to General David Petraeus in Iraq during the Surge. Heavy armour has a major role to play in wars now and the future.

The head of Australia's intelligence service talked of having expelled "a hive of spies" from the country. Meanwhile Australia's former trade minister immediately after leaving government service accepted an $880k job working for a Chinese billionaire with ties to the Beijing government.
Our guest is quoted as saying "I don't have confidence that when it comes to sensitive investigations involving China that could possibly drag in the political elite in this country, the government really has an interest in getting these types of investigations over the line."
