NFL star running back Adrian Peterson appeal of his suspension from playing football until at least April 15 of next year has been denied by an arbitrator, after the NFLPA decided to challenge the Commissioner's suspension of the 2012 'Most Valuable Player'. Also this week NFL owners adopted a new 'personal conduct policy'. After the domestic violence case of former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice and the Minnesota Vikings Peterson, the NFL was under significant pressure to take action. According to ESPN, 'a suspension of six games without pay for violations involving assault, sexual assault, battery, domestic violence, child abuse and other forms of family violence will be in effect.'
