George Lovie, convicted double first degree murderer of former NHL/Team Canada goaltender Don Edwards was this past week permitted leave by the National Parole Board in an area the Edwards family is requesting he be denied access (Brantford, ON). Lovie immediately went AWOL and an RCMP arrest warrant was issued. Lovie detained by police, but parole officer permitted his release to continue. The entire Edwards family shifted into pre-arranged defense mode.
