Last weekend the phone lines were jammed non-stop when Roy told the story of a Vancouver man being punched in the head at a Starbucks for not speaking English into his mobile phone.
Two men at first verbally abused him for speaking a "f---ing foreign language," adding, "you're talking in a f----g foreign language. Go back to your own country." The insults continued and then the punch happened.
Police are investigating if it's a hate crime issue.
