We have lots of ways to protect the possessions we find important. This is essentially how Paul ends this sections of this epistle.
We much protect ourselves from false doctrine. Paul shows this be telling of a confrontation between Paul and Peter. Paul calls him on the carpet, which shows he is not under the authority of the apostles.
With this incident, we can watch Paul's activity and learn how we can protect ourselves and our ministries from false doctrine.
