Roots and Rhymes Podcast hosted by Chunz. Members of the brit-asian community have grown up and successfully diversified into areas of popular culture such as mainstream Music, Fashion and Lifestyle but one thing these individuals have in common is their roots and their love for music. Growing up listening to cultural punjabi bhangra music, many of these people also listened to urban music such as hip-hop and felt welcomed by this modern urban culture. This podcast will be taking a deep dive by speaking to guests about the influences of punjabi and urban music and how it contributed and shaped their lives today.
Roots & Rhymes have made a commitment to reach an initial target of £1000 which will be donated to #WeMakeEvents chosen charity Backup.
