Silence

Faith is sometimes the most powerful thing to some people, to these men it is all they have. Martin Scorsese does not disappoint with this film as two padres travel to Japan to spread the word of Christianity, and also to find what happened to their fellow father in his time there. An incredibly powerful film that does not shy away from the hardships or tortures for those who practiced this faith, Scorsese uses incredible music with breathtaking scenery to flush out this story.  This is one to definitely not miss as some may see them as saviors, and others as the disaster.
