While the name “Tiuku” might elicit little more than a shrug and an upturned nose from most of The Archipelago’s elite, they’ve certainly come to know and fear her alter ego: the famous Bell Thief. Tiuku has been responsible for countless high-profile burglaries from Gourzon to South Pillars, and now she has her eye set on the magnificent splendor of Gregarious Pirrenoue, Culture Admiral of the Prosperous Nation of Galyria. But while she may be used to armed guards, moonlit vistas and clandestine infiltration, in Azure Bay she faces a never-before-seen threat to her stellar criminal record: the earnest attempted aid of the clumsy and brilliant inventor Zara Fontaine.
