Hunger is the enemy! If you can figure out how to control ghrelin, the hunger hormone, you're giving yourself a huge leg up.

Your body is an incredible machine. In a perfectly working body, ghrelin tells us when to eat so we don't starve to death, and leptin tells us when to stop eating. But hormones aren't always in perfect working balance due to diet, sleep, exercise, obesity, genetic predispositions and health conditions. 

Here's 3 steps you can take to get ghrelin and leptin to the levels you want, and stop doing things that cause an unnecessary spike in ghrelin. 

Stop overdoing it with cardio. Get better sleep and allow your hormones to reset naturally. (Check out episode 18 for sleep tips). Eat less sugar. (The contentment way of eating + sleeping better will help!)
