June 21st is the official first day of summer and so we have a hot show prepared for you on Catching A Wave! We hear a tune from an album by Surfer Joe celebrating it's 10th anniversary this year in our Good Time segment. Beth Riley has a previously unreleased track by The Beach Boys (until 2021's Feel Flows box set) in her Surf's Up: Beth's Beach Boys Break. There's a snippet of an interview Beth did with the legendary Mark Farner in the Green Room segment as they discuss their love of The Beach Boys (including one of Mark's favorites from them as well a classic from Grand Funk Railroad). As always, we also drop a coin in the Jammin' James Jukebox to hear our selection of the week (also a connection to The Beach Boys). Plus, we've got tunes from The Courettes, The Ventures, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, The Hooters, The Charades, Pretenders, Christopher Gilson, The Tridents, Rangers, Abyssal Lurkers, Les Panches Surfers and The Biarritz Boys.
