Just over 9 months ago, we interviewed a little-known Democratic presidential candidate named Andrew Yang. Since then, he has surprised many by outlasting the campaigns of governors and senators and being the lone candidate of color in tomorrow night’s nationally televised debate.
We had a chance to attend one of his fundraisers in New York at the end of November so we wanted to fill in our listeners with a quick bonus episode on what the atmosphere was like and what he spoke about. Andrew touched on topics such as what his interactions on the campaign trail have been like, how automation will affect New Yorkers, the treatment he has been getting from the media, and Asians in politics.
