Welcome back to the Rock 'n Roll Ghost Podcast. On this week's episode, the Ghost speaks with filmmaker Gaz Alazraki (HBO MAX's Father of the Bride). Alazraki discusses his goals for the remake of the Spencer Tracy classic, including the desire to not just make a film about a Cuban family and a Mexican family coming together in marriage, but a universal film about families.

The film, a smash hit on HBO MAX since debuting before Father's Day, surprised this viewer with both its hysterical humor and it's emotional resonance. In particular, star Andy Garcia stands out in one of his strongest performances in some time.

Alazraki also talks about his upcoming projects, including one potential series about the days that Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera spent in the United States.
