On this episode of ROCK IT LIVE I had the chance to speak with video freelancer coach,   Benno Nelson.

Benno and I met in Dallas Travers' coaching group and quickly connected due to our similar backgrounds in the world of video and film.  We discussed Benno's career as a music video director and how he transitioned to coaching freelance video professionals.

About Benno Nelson

Benno knows the freelance life from both sides of the fence: being one and hiring them. He spent 10 years as a freelance director and editor in Los Angeles and learned - through trial and error - how to best function in the freelance world. 

In 2009 he started his own production company where he served as owner and senior creative director. His clients included; AMC Network, Republic Records, UGG, Atlantic Records, and Princeton University. Benno moved to Nashville in 2017 and worked as the Director of Video content for Warner Music Nashville.
