This week on the podcast we chatted with local serial entrepreneur and small business owner Brad Vigesaa at one of his businesses, NerdinOut. Brad started multiple businesses in Rochester with a friend and business partner. The first was NerdinOut, a pop culture store that has two locations, one in Rochester and a new shop in Inver Grove Heights. In 2019, Brad and his business partner started another business, called The Battleground, which is attached to the NerdinOut location in Rochester. The Battleground is a tactical laser tag business that allows for immersive play. Brad is the sole owner of both of these businesses since June 1st this year. On the show today we talk about Brad’s previous job in sales, going ‘all in’ with his businesses, how he found his business partner, lessons learned, and much more.
