This week, we hear from Jerome Ferson and Emily Johnston with the United Way of Olmsted County. This organization began locally as a community chest in 1925, becoming known as the United Way of Olmsted County in 1972. Today on the podcast Jerome and Emily chat about the Together COVID-19 Community Support Fund, a grant fund being raised by the United Way of Olmsted County and community partners to help Rochester area nonprofits deal with financial stressors from COVID-19 impact. To date, the team has raised $685,000 for the fund.
