Welcome to Roadcase!! Mikaela Davis is a classically trained harpist with a gorgeous voice who performs with her band, Southern Star. Her 2018 debut album, Delivery, was produced by Grammy-winner John Congleton and is a super-groovy collection of songs, and we're pleased to report that a new album is due for release later this year, along with a new live album as well. Mikaela has also been incorporating Grateful Dead covers into her live set for quite some time now, and her Tiny Desk appearance accompanying Bob Weir and Wolf Bros is epic and extraordinary. She has been embraced in a unique way by the jam band community and rightly so, but Mikaela and Southern Star have a new and unique vibe that transcends categorization into any jam band category, and Mikaela's gentle and easy-going vibe makes her story even more intriguing.
