Disposable nappies account for up to 45 percent of our household waste. But a couple with three children under five have set up an enterprise so families and caregivers can be in control of the amount of baby waste they generate. Tahlia and Semisi Hutchison started making New Zealand's first fully sustainable nappy, establishing their business Little & Brave Eco Nappies in August last year, going as far as opening their own commercial composting plant in Central Auckland. Kathryn Ryan speaks with Semisi Hutchison.
