At least 600,000 people have been exposed to dangerous and deadly toxins as a result of US miltary contamination around the western Pacific. The figure's been compiled by investigative author Jon Mitchell in his new book Poisoning the Pacific: The US military's secret dumping of Plutonium, Chemical Weapons and Agent Orange. He believes millions more in Japan and mainland Asia have been exposed to Japanese chemical weapons and US dioxin - and are still having their health compromised. Jon spent 10 years conducting his research, based on nearly 12,000 pages of documents obtained under the US Freedom of Information Act.
