This wildfire season is set to be Canada's worst on record, as over 400 out-of-control wildfires continue to wreak havoc over the east of the country.
Quebec Premier Francois Legault said "around 11,400 people have been evacuated so far from remote parts of northern Quebec and another 4,000 will be evacuated soon."
In the US, more than 100 million Americans are under hazardous air alert as the choking smoke sweeps south.
