Woolworths New Zealand has reported a 42 percent drop in pre-tax earnings to $71 million in the 6 months ending in December.
The result came the same day as the company's Australia-based chief executive Brad Banducci resigned, days after a disastrous interview over sky-high food prices.
Woolworths declined our invitation to come on the programme.
