Ukraine fighters have made further gains in occupied territories overnight, to the point where Russia no longer holds the full territory of any of the regions it has laid claim to.
The Kremlin says it will consult with residents living in two of the Ukrainian regions it moved to annex last week - Kherson and Zaporizhzhia - on how their borders should be defined.
The Duma has ratified the annexation of the four regions in eastern Ukraine.
Thousands of Russians were sent home after being wrongfully called up.
