Education Minister Jan Tinetti was forced to apologise to the House yesterday after the Privileges Committee found she'd misled Parliament due to "high degree of negligence".
But the committee found she was not guilty of contempt in failing to correct the record around school attendance.
National's Michael Woodhouse says the episode is "particularly embarrassing" because it involves the Minister responsible for the future of New Zealand's children.
He spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss this morning.
