Obnoxious and unnecessary - that's the Privacy Commissioner John Edwards' view of a government Bill aimed at controlling New Zealanders who return from fighting terrorist wars overseas.
Mr Edwards has told Parliament's Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade select committee the Terrorism Suppression Control Orders Bill should not proceed.
