Surgeries still getting cancelled last minute

Surgeons are still taking a pen to their theatre lists every day, cancelling patients' operations at the last minute.
That's despite optimism from health bosses that the situation is improving as Covid-19 hospitalisations drop.
Those working on the frontline say in some places it's still as bad as it's been at any point this winter.
