Social media has become so ingrained in our lives that we're often recommend detoxes to reduce stress and improve our self-esteem.
But, new research out of Durham University in the UK shows that like crash diets, detoxing from social media is less likely to boost your well-being than you might think.
Durham University Department of Psychology professor Dr Niklas Ihssen spoke to Corin Dann.
