The Royal Society - Te  Apārangi celebrated the achievements and contributions of New Zealand's leading researchers at its annual award ceremony on Thursday. The winners came from a wide variety of research areas in science and the humanities. They included people working on commercialising ultrafast lasers, supporting young people to become engaged citizens and developing stretchable electronics. Alison Ballance has the details.
