After wreaking havoc on Vanuatu's northern provinces, Cyclone Lola has been downgraded to Category 1.
Winds close to the centre have slowed dramatically.
Due to communications outages, the full scale of destruction is unknown although some reports have been trickling in from Vanuatu's hardest-hit islands including houses being obliterated, schools damaged, and plantations wiped out.
World Vision Vanuatu director Kendra Derousseau spoke to Corin Dann.
