A youth law centre says some schools have wrongly denied enrolment to local children.
Last month the Education Ministry intervened after an Auckland school refused to enrol a child living within its enrolment zone.
The school had demanded the family produce a 12-month tenancy agreement.
YouthLaw general manager Darryn Aitchison spoke to Morning Report.
