The man in charge of the Sarjeant Gallery earthquake strengthening and redevelopment project in Whanganui says it's been one of the most complex and challenging of his 40-year career.
More than a year behind schedule and with a price tag of almost $70 million - about twice that first mooted - the developers can now see light at the end of the tunnel.
